COVID Info

Thank you so much for your patience as we continue to respond and adapt to the pandemic. We have decided to proceed with hosting a wedding on March 19,2022

The goal of this message is to tell you — someone we deeply care about and are inviting to our wedding — what to expect when you attend. This is our attempt to help make this transitional time easier, and we thank you for your generosity and kindness as we do our best to start our marriage while also prioritizing health, safety, and joy.

Here’s what you can expect at our wedding:

We are hosting this wedding in Riverside County and are expected to follow all regulations according to the county. We are expecting a maximum of 160 people. We are asking all guests and vendors to be fully vaccinated before the wedding. If that is not possible, we are asking those who are unvaccinated to get a test done within 72 hours of the event. The wedding will be taking place both indoors and outdoors, and doors open while we are indoors. We have more details about our COVID policies down below. Please feel free to contact either one of us at andrewvidal082@gmail.com or miasparacio@gmail.com if you are unsure or need to speak more about this.

We understand that the situation above may make your attendance of our wedding in-person impossible. This deeply saddens us because we love you and will miss you, but as much as we want to start our marriage with you present, we want you to stay safe more. We hope that by starting this conversation early, we can discuss what works best for all of us.

Thank you again so much for your love and support. This has been — and remains — an extremely difficult time and we so value all of the empathy and grace you have given us as we do our best to start our marriage in a way that doesn't endanger the lives of those we love best in the world. Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.

This is the COVID safety policy for Andrew and Mia's wedding on March 19, 2022.

Last updated on 10/30 by the bride and groom

Location: We are hosting this wedding in Riverside, which is part of Riverside County.

Headcount: There will be 150 people invited to the wedding. We will continue to update this number as soon as we receive RSVPs. We are also expecting around 10 vendors who will be there for a grand total of 160 people maximum.

Vaccines: We are hoping that all of our guests are fully vaccinated before attending our wedding. In the event that you are not, we are asking you to go a little extra to help us ensure the safety of all of our friends and family. We have laid our our requests below.

Proof of vaccination: We are not asking for proof of vaccination, and as of now, our venue is not as well. We love you and you love us, so we are just going on the honor system. Please don't make it awkward for any of us, we still want you there and will try and work with you to make that happen if you cannot be vaccinated.

Unvaccinated adults or adults whose vaccination status is unknown: We are asking that adults who are unvaccinated get COVID test within 72 hours of the wedding and do not attend if it is positive. Masks are highly recommended for adults who are unvaccinated, and we also would like to encourage social distancing.

Testing and quarantining: If you are unvaccinated, we would love if you are able to quarantine before the wedding. We know this is not an option for a lot of people, so we will also be asking those who are not vaccinated to get a COVID test up to 72 hours before the wedding. We encourage all of our guests to take a test as well, but are specifically asking those who are unvaccinated to do so. We are trusting that you will not join us if you test positive. We will have some higher risk guests at this wedding so we just want to make sure everyone is staying safe.

Kids: Some of the most important guests attending will be kids. As of now, we are not asking children under 12 to be vaccinated. That is one of the biggest reasons we are asking everyone to abide by these protocols. Although COVID still can be passed between vaccinated persons, we also know this is much less likely. We are hoping to keep the kids distanced a little bit and provide them with plenty of fresh air to add to the other safety protocols.

Masks: Masks are highly recommended for individuals who are unvaccinated. The couple will provide masks but vendors and guests are welcome to bring their own.

Social distancing: We will be spacing the table and chairs so we can social distance as best as we can while we are indoors. Please use some caution especially when it comes to children as they are most likely are not vaccinated yet.

Travel: Please follow any travel advisories if you need to travel for our wedding. We will update any local travel advisories as it gets closer.

Indoors/outdoors: The majority of the reception will be outside. The cocktail hour will be outside, but dinner will be eaten indoors. After dinner, everyone is encouraged to return outside for dancing and other mingling. We will try and keep the doors open while inside as well, to keep the fresh air coming through at all times. So please dress accordingly!

Virtual option: If you cannot attend and are interested in being there virtually, please let us know and we can try and set something up!

Food and drink: We will be having tacos that will be cooked and served outside by the vendors. They are taking all precautions to make sure they are staying safe and keeping all of our guests safe. Guests will take their food back inside to eat at their table. We will be trying to limit "family style" food as much as possible, but where there is food out, free to grab, please make sure you are only touching what you take and washing hands often.

Additional safety policies:

    • Additional masks will be provided by the couple.

    • Hand sanitizer will be provided at frequent locations around the venue(s).
